Our 2 stage plan is to:
1. Educate
- Educate people of the hazards of putting toxic materials and other pollutants into the local storm drains. Encourage people to keep their storm drains clean and free of pollutants that would end up in our local water supply.
- Educate people on the different methods of protecting our local water ways. Inform about Best Management Practices with the use of storm drain filters, regular storm drain maintenance, proper equipment washing procedures and HazMat clean up procedures.
- Educate people how to operate within the laws, rules and regulations of federal, state and local regulatory agencies.
- Educate people how to create and maintain Best Management Practices, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan and Spill Response Plan. 2. Provide services and products
- Lower the costs and expenses for keeping our environment safe
- Provide the services needed to keep storm drains and the local water systems free of debris and pollutants.
- Provide products necessary for maintaining SRP readiness and SWPPP.
- Provide classes on SRP, BMP and SWPPP.
